The International Firestop Council (IFC) is a not for profit association of manufacturers and users of fire protective materials and systems. IFC's mission is to promote the technology of fire containment in modern building construction through research, education programs, and the development of safety standards and code provisions.
The International Firestop Council (IFC) offers Firestop Inspection Seminars at no cost to the participants. The IFC offers these Seminars to interested groups at their location. Each participant will receive a Certificate of Completion and a Free IFC Pocket Guide for Inspectors. The host organization will also receive an IFC "Inspecting Firestop for Compliance" video at no cost.

The IFC provides online and live training on several aspects of fire stopping. The programs include modules with information on specific fire stopping topics as well as full inspection courses. The resources can be found on their web-page and are a valuable tool during all aspects of code inspection.
